On Tuesday, officials told 5 News that Robert Beerbower was in good condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
According to a police report, Stephanie Gentry-Russell was Beerbower's current girlfriend and when she found out that his ex-wife was with him on Saturday she became enraged.
Her cousin, Michael Glenn, told her the two were together and she asked him to bring her to Beerbower's home. Glenn drove her there and placed a gun in her lap.
Police said when they arrived she slashed the tires of the ex-wife's car. When Beerbower came outside to see what was going on he was shot twice in the stomach.
They were both arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder.
