Salem Police told 5 News that family members of the missing student, Allison Rohrbaugh, have spoken to the woman. She apparently talked to them on Thursday and Friday. Family members said she is safe.

Original Story:

Police in Salem are looking for a Salem International University student, who's been missing since Monday morning.

Allison Rohrbaugh was last seen driving her 2002 red Jeep Liberty, with the license plate number 9PW487.

Rohrbaugh is described as being 5'2" and weighing about 160 pounds. She has blue eyes and black hair.

No word on if her disappearance is crime related. Salem Police said family members told them they talked to her on the phone last night and this morning and they believe she is safe.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
