The social media giant, Facebook, is bringing some new changes to your pages.
Advertisements are nothing new for Facebook, but the next time you log online, some of those advertisements may be more personalized than you would think. The company will soon track users web browsing history and apps to determine which ads appear on their screens.
Right now, Facebook learns about users interests through the pages that they 'like' and what they put on their profile page. But never before have they been able to target ad's based on users online habits.
Now some say Facebook is pushing privacy limits, and the snooping and spying needs to come to an end.
Others say that this is not going to stop them from logging on.
"The ad's are annoying. But people will deal with them just because no one is going to get off Facebook just because of advertisements. They will just keep doing it because they know that they can," said Calie Gilmore, visiting from Wyoming.
All you have to do is, go to general, select restrictions, scroll down to advertising under the privacy section, and then select 'limit ad tracking'.
