American Cancer Society Hosts 37th Annual Great American Smokeout at UHC

Even after almost nearly 40 years of encouraging people to stop smoking, nearly 44 million Americans haven't kicked the habit. That's why the American Cancer Society held their 37th Annual Great American Smokeout on Thursday.
The day is to encourage smokers to give up smoking. They also try to encourage people to stop using other tobacco products such as cigars and snuff. At United Hospital Center they had plenty of suggestions for helping you to quit.
For a fun little twist, UHC was holding a chance drawing for those vowing to quit cold turkey. You could fill out a questionnaire and name a turkey for your chance to win a free 22-pound Thanksgiving turkey.
