Can a high school student own there very own business? They sure can. In fact, a senior at Bridgeport High School is a finalist in the National Federation of Independent Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Ben Queen started his business when he was only in 8th grade. He designed a website where he sells pictures to anyone who wants them. He photographs all different things, but his main focus is on sports because he said it's a little more challenging and more fun. We talked to queen Thursday and he was excited to have made it this far in the competition.

"Around here it's pretty unique to happen, but 550 other kids have some type of business experience in the U.S. and to be able to know that I'm one of those is self-fulfilling. Finally, that someone saw the hard work I've put into it," said Queen.
Queen is heading to Washington, DC in June to find out if he won the $10,000 prize.
