Voters in Barbour County will have an easier time getting to the polls, thanks to a grant for more than $9,300.

It'll help buy the equipment needed to automatically open doors at Belington Elementary School and Philippi Middle School, helping disabled people cast their ballots.

It's all apart of the "Help Americans Vote Act," and will help the polling places comply with the Americans with Disability Act.

The new technology will also help the schools become easily accessible all year long.
