In Doddridge County, crews had quite a mess to clean up after a cement truck flipped into the median Monday afternoon.
Troopers said that shortly after 1 p.m., the truck was heading on Route 50 towards Harrison County when the driver somehow lost control. The truck slid about 150 feet on its side before coming to a stop just before the entrance to the elementary and middle schools.
Luckily, the driver seemed to be doing OK and was just going to United Hospital Center.
One lane was closed in both directions while crews cleaned up.
The Doddridge County Sheriff's Department is investigating. State Police assisted at the scene.
