Two local chefs got involved in a little friendly competition at the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown on Sunday.

About 60 people came out to watch reigning Chef McDonald from Stefano's and Chef Rice go head-to-head in The Chef's Challenge.

This is the second year for the event that raises money for the Ronald McDonald House.  The money goes to pay for families who need to stay there while they receive medical care.
The families never have to pay to stay there, and organizers said that's why this event is so important.
"This is important to us because we try to do a lot of fundraisers, but we're trying to do things that will involve them in the Ronald McDonald House- have them come and look at the House. Lots of people know we're here, but don't really know what we do. So, we want to try to get them in, show them what we do, and show them the facility as well," said the C.E.O of The House Steve De Jesus.
The chef who came out on top received the coveted chef's jacket.
Their next event is a 5-k run at Marilla Park in May.  To learn more, click here.
