The Clarksburg Mission helps churches feed hundreds on Thanksgiving Day but they desperately need your help to do so this year.

The Mission's about 200 turkeys short of the average amount needed to feed all the people they try to help. Usually about 400 turkeys come in to the Mission around Thanksgiving. These meals help people in Harrison County, but also down in Webster Springs. Some folks were stopping by to drop turkeys off during the day but while 5 News was there on Wednesday, only about three were left in the building.

If you can help, feel free to drop off a turkey at the Mission in Glen Elk or call them at 304-622-2451 if you need to make arrangements to have some picked up.
