Early Indicators of Who Will Win Presidential Election

Even though the polls are showing a tight race between President Obama and Governor Romney, they're usually a good indicator of who will most likely win.

Political scientists said right now there's an interesting break between national and state polls. National polls are pretty much even, but show Obama has a slight edge. While state polls show Obama has a stronger advantage.
Professors said Romney has to win Ohio to win the election.
"Barack Obama has a few more paths to winning than Mitt Romney does. Mitt Romney's road to victory runs through Ohio, for sure. We often get caught up in "our vote doesn't matter" but, especially at the state level, lots of races come down to just a few votes. So, your vote really makes a difference," said Patrick Hickey, WVU Assistant Professor of Political Science.

Hickey also said Obama could lose Ohio and still win the election, but then he would have to win either Colorado, Virginia, or Florida. All three are a toss up, but have a slight lean towards Romney.

I see WV citizens proved once again we cannot be intimidated, threatened or deceived by Obama and the liberal progressive dems in this state. We KNEW who Obama was and what he stood for and we want no part of communism and we won't tolerate attacking GOD in our state. Christians are NOT second class citizens regardless of what the DNC wants their own party to be. If the DNC chooses to not have any part of GOD in their party's platform, so be it, but WV christians won't accept that party's platform, period!! Glad to see Capito won against Howard Swints liberal deceit against her and made up lies too. Those who resort to such disgusting actions have no part in our govt.

People as ignorant as you are the true disgrace to America. Eight years of flawed conservative policies is what hurt our country, not President Obama
