The Elkins Police Department is getting ready to hire a new officer.
They'll be taking applications until 4:00 p.m. on February 8th. You can apply in the city clerks office until that time.

Applicants must be between 18 and 40 on February 9th, and will undergo testing and evaluations.
They'll be testing on February 9th at 8:30 a.m. at the American Legion in Elkins.
