State Police need your help to find out who broke into the Ritchie County Detachment Tuesday night and stole evidence from the office .

Early Wednesday morning, troopers discovered that someone had broken into the office and gotten into the evidence locker.

Some things were taken out of the room but they're not telling us what was taken. 5 News was told that troopers must follow a strict procedure when things go into that room. That's why they were able to find out what was all missing.

Investigators are working with the county prosecutor as they're following all leads.

If you have any information, call the state police at 304-643-2101. You can also give them information at WV Crime.
