5 News Update (2/7):
A man is in the jail after police say he stabbed his wife in downtown Clarksburg Wednesday night.
A little after 7:00 p.m. 25-year-old Bryan Wynder got into an argument with his wife on Pike Street when she supposedly tried to get in a cab to get away from him. Police say that's when Wynder stabbed her in the right thigh with a kitchen knife.
She was taken to UHC, and is expected to be okay. Wynder was found on Trader's Alley about ten minutes later. He also had to be taken to the hospital after cutting his own wrist.
The Clarksburg police department is investigating.

Two people were taken to the hospital after an apparent stabbing in Clarksburg Wednesday night.
Around 7:00 p.m., a man and woman left an apartment building on West Pike Street in front of the VFW. According to the driver of the cab they were about to take, the woman was getting in first when the man stabbed her in the leg.
She was taken to UHC and is expected to be fine. The man was caught only a couple hundred feet from where it happened behind BB&T Bank. He also had to be taken to the hospital after cutting his own wrist.
The Clarksburg Police Department is investigating.
