Over a decade ago, an elderly woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in Harrison County, and Joseph Buffey was the man police say is responsible, but key evidence supposedly points to someone else.

Adam Bowers was supposed to have a hearing today in Harrison County, but it was pushed back.

A DNA test conducted on biological evidence left at the scene shows  Bowers sexually assaulted the woman back in 2001. This DNA evidence apparently excluded Buffey as a contributor entirely.

Bowers is scheduled to be back in court in December.

Well hopefully the prosecutor in Harrison county believes in real JUSTICE than prosecuting attorney in Marion county, Patrick Wilson does. Wilson thinks 'home confinement' is acceptable to give rapists. Wonder if he'd feel same way if one of his family members were raped???? We need to get these people out of office that put those in place to be so lenient on child molesters/rapists. A teacher rapes a student, Wilson gives him home confinement and liberal media and Wilson passes it off as a really harsh sentence. We have children running this state and nation at this time. It's time for them to be replaced with ADULTS in November!
