Most of you probably remember the Target breach that happened at the beginning of the year and there could be another one like it, this time at Home Depot.

According to USA Today, there was a batch of credit and debit card information that went on sale on a criminal internet site Tuesday and that information could be from Home Depot stores. Security experts say this incident could be linked to the hackers responsible for the breaches at Target and P.F. Chang's.

According to journalist Brian Krebs' blog, krebsonsecurity.com, the breach could have started in late April or early May of this year.

5 News reached out to the manager of the Home Depot in Bridgeport and he said they were notified of an investigation. He said there is an investigation into unusual activity related to the credit cards but he stressed that nothing has been proven.

All card holders will be notified immediately if there is evidence that the cards at this store have been hacked.
