The holiday season is here, meaning a lot of you are planning a big holiday bash. But without the right planning, your party can easily go from delightful to frightful.
From the invitations to the decorations to the cooking and entertaining, throwing a party this Christmas season can definitely get your blood pressure to rise. So here's some tips to make things a little easier on yourself.
Overall, you need to have a party plan in place. Make sure you're organized. Know what you need and when you need it. Also, have a budget in mind and stick to it. According David Tutera, host of "We TV's My Fair Wedding," the biggest thing you need to remember is keep your cool.
Here's some more tips to throwing a great Christmas party:
One thing you can do is get lots of candles. They're inexpensive and can create a great atmosphere. You can also avoid cooking by getting food at a restaurant and re-plating it. And finally, lots of plants can also help make a party look a bit more festive.
