Commissioners in Lewis County are also working to try to save nearly 200 jobs that are scheduled to be lost when a telemarketing firm closes in May.
At the end of March, 5 News announced that iPacesetters was closing at the end of May. Company officials haven't returned calls about why they're closing this office. Even county commissioners haven't been able to get an answer. In the meantime, they are trying to do whatever they can to keep the doors open past the closing date.

If those efforts fail, more than 180 jobs will be lost.
