Students at Lumberport Elementary School spent their Valentine's Day dancing in a world record J.A.M. session Thursday afternoon.
The school participates in this program through the state department. It is based off the national campaign called Just a Minute. This initiative encourages kids to move at least one minute a day.
Throughout the year, Lumberport Elementary kids do quick J.A.M. sessions in their classrooms. Some of them can even be done in their chairs. Thursday's one was a special one where the whole school got together to do the choreographed dance.
Physical Education teacher Kathy DeMarco hopes to do these sessions at least twice a year.
