Man Arrested When Police Find $30,000 Worth of Marijuana Plants

A man in Doddridge County is in some trouble after police found a large amount of marijuana plants on his property.

Sheriff Mike Headley said they received a call about some plants growing outside a home on Long Run in Greenwood, on Wednesday. Investigators got a search warrant and on Wednesday night, deputies descended on the home. There they found $30,000 worth of marijuana plants outside and "a lot" of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Brooke James was arrested on a charge of manufacturing controlled substance. He is out on a $44,000 bond.
