A man whose friends say can't swim wound up in a creek in Harrison County around 9:00 p.m. Monday.

It happened on Water Street in Stonewood. The 40-year-old man was on his way home and was talking to a family member on the phone. He stopped talking, and that's when the family member heard a crash.

They knew the man was close to home, so they went looking for him and found his car about 10 minutes later. Police believe some sort of medical condition caused him to lose control, sending his car over the embankment. They said the man was alert and talking when taken to UHC.

He received minor injuries in the crash. The Stonewood Police Department is investigating.
