Weather could've played a factor in an accident in Fairmont Tuesday evening where someone had to be cut out of their vehicle.
Around 5:00 p.m. traffic was shut down on Monumental Road for about an hour.
Somehow one of the two cars involved got hit on the passenger side, after one of them crossed the center lines. Each were traveling opposite directions.
Three people were taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The sheriff's department said they have an idea of what happened, but wouldn't say what it was.
Several people have been taken to local hospitals after an accident Tuesday afternoon in Marion County.
It happened on Monumental Road just before 5:00 p.m.
We have a reporter on scene who says three people were injured in the accident, but we aren't sure if the adverse weather has anything to do with the accident.
We are working on more details, so stay with us here at 5 News for the latest.
