Masked Gunman Steals Thousands From Morgantown Store

Police have confirmed that a masked gunman stole thousands of dollars from Smoker Friendly in Morgantown.
It happened a little before 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening on Holland Avenue. Police said a man wearing a mask and gloves held up a cashier at gunpoint. He apparently ordered the worker to empty the register and safe into a black bag.
There was also a customer in the store at the time, and the gunman ordered him to lie on the floor.
Police said he took between $4,000 and $5,000 in cash. Luckily, neither the customer or cashier were injured.
Police have no suspects at this time. Westover Police are investigating.
