West Virginia Division of Juvenile Services - Dr. Harriet B. Jones Treatment Center

A Harrison County man is behind bars after allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.

Officers say last week, Patrick Randolph, 20, performed sexual acts on a 15-year-old at a juvenile sex offender treatment center in Salem.

The facility holds 21 juvenile sex offenders and seven youths with behavioral issues. A correctional officer had previously testified that an older offender allegedly sexually assaulted a younger resident  while the center was short-staffed. Testimony also alleged one officer sexually assaulted another officer.

The Doctor Harriet B. Jones Treatment Center has been ordered by the court to shut down because of instances like this one.
