There's still no word on if a Doddridge County teen will be charged as a juvenile or an adult in the murders of three of his family members.

The Doddridge County Sheriff's Department said the other day that he will be charged with first degree murder for allegedly shooting all three, but on Friday they said they still don't know if he will be tried as an adult. He has been arrested and is waiting for a pre-trial hearing.

Deputies said Friday that Dixie Spencer, Frederick Spencer and their 9-year-old daughter are the victims. They said they believe they were killed by the couples 16-year-old son.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the T. Edward Davis gym at Salem International University.

In lieu of flowers, you can make a contribution to the Spencer Family Fund at Cornerstone Bank in West Union, Salem or Pennsboro.
