If you've been following the news all this week, you know that it's been a rough week for President Obama because of several issues like the IRS scandal, but how are his approval ratings doing?

In a recent survey by CNN earlier this week, 53% of Americans approve of how the president is doing.

That's two points higher than a poll taken right before the IRS scandal unfolded this week.

The poll also said more than half of Americans think the IRS acted on its own, and that the Obama Administration had nothing to do with the actions that unfolded.
