There's been rumors going around that there's no running water at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
5 News talked with jail officials who told us that's not true.
They did say they've been conserving water ever since a main pump failed at the Norton, Harding, Jimtown PSD last week.
Officials said the water fountains at the facility haven't been turned off, but they are asking inmates to conserve water when they shower or use the bathroom.
They've also given inmates one bag lunch and two hot meals a day instead of their regular three hot meals, so they don't have to use as much water washing dishes.
