There have been reports out of Upshur County that several people have been called by a man who claims to be with a company called Worldwide Technical Support, and he wants access to your computer.

Don't fall for it, because it's a scam.

According to one of those callers, the man is telling callers to go on their computer so they can troubleshoot an issue or security flaw with windows update.

5 News has confirmed with Frontier Cable that this is a scam.

If you get a call like this, take note of the phone number, hang up, and call your local police or sheriff's department.
