A Lewis County man was arrested Wednesday after police say he snuck into a home, where he sexually abused a young girl.

Weston Police said Matt Jones snuck into a Weston home sometime last year. Once inside, he supposedly put his hands down the pants of a 6-year-old girl who was sleeping.

Police caught up with Jones in Jane Lew Wednesday, but when they did, he tried to run. Jones didn't get far before police caught him.

Jones was taken to the Central Regional Jail. His bond was set at $50,000, $25,000 of which must be cash.
