Officials aren't saying much about what they believe are human remains that were found just over the Pennsylvania border last week.
The Obrserver-Reporter, a newspaper in Greene County, Pennsylvania, reported that the remains were found in Wayne Township last Wednesday.
The Observer-Reporter newspaper is also reporting that the Greene County coroner’s office has issued a statement regarding this ongoing investigation. The coroner was called Jan. 16 to a location in Wayne Township where police found what are believed to be human remains. The coroner’s office has no further information or comment at this time.
5 News has learned that the U.S. Attorney in the Mountain State is handling the case.
