Sex Offender Wanted in Ohio Caught in Fairmont

State Police have caught a man wanted in Belmont, Ohio for failing to register as a sex offender.
They received a tip on Saturday that Victor Stevens was living in Philippi. Troopers in Barbour County checked on this tip and tried to find him, when they came across a Fairmont address.
Troopers relayed this information to the Fairmont detachment, and Stevens was picked up Wednesday night around 7:00 in Fairmont.
Philippi Police, WVSP in Philippi and Police in Fairmont assisted in this case.
