Taylor County Couple Accused of Leaving Kids Unattended to Use Drugs

A Taylor County couple is accused of leaving two children unattended for days while they used drugs.
Deputies said Catherine McEldowney and Aaron McEldowney admitted to smoking Percocets on a daily basis. A 16-year-old girl was supposedly left to care for a seven-year-old boy, while the two would leave their house for days on end.
Deputies also found several materials that are used to make meth in different places around their home, including the children's bedrooms.
The couple is charged with child neglect.
