If you're still working on this year's New Year's Resolutions you should have headed to the Meadowbrook Mall Saturday. Around 5 p.m, the mall wasn't just filled with shoppers but with people working out and lifting weights.
The WV Fitness Team Fit program put on a demo at the mall to show what their program is all about. They call it Team Fit because you're not alone. It's a workout system that helps you push yourself with people who have the same goals as you. They do workouts based on endurance and strength so it's good for anyone, no matter your skill level.
"Everything we do in this class can be modified to fit anybody. Every single person in the mall right now could come do this workout if they wanted to. You have somebody to hold you accountable to and you have a reason to come to class. You meet new friends, you meet new people, and it's just a community right now of people doing workout," said Jon Groves, WV Fitness Trainer.
If you're interested in this program, stop by WV Fitness on Lodgeville Road in Bridgeport.
