Police in Mon County are still trying to figure out what caused a 17-year-old to lose control of her car on Mon Boulevard.
Investigators said she was heading south near the Creative Arts Center when she hit six parked cars and flipped her own vehicle.
The girl was the only one involved in the accident.
Investigators say she caused tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Mon Boulevard was closed for about an hour while officials cleaned up that accident.

I am glad to hear she was not texting or or talking on the phone! I am also glad she is in physically good condition.........However, you make it sound like the students cars were parked e-legally.........They were NOT!

Just for the record, this accident was caused by someone cutting into her lane. She had nowhere to go because students had to use the birm for parking because WVU closed the coliseum lot for the campers for tomorrow's game. Students were parked along the boulevard forcing her into the parked cars with nowhere to go. She was NOT texting or talking on her cell phone which I'm sure that's everyone's first conclusion.
