Good news out of the health world to tell you about; a recent study shows the smoking rate among teenagers has reached a landmark low.
5 News talked to a few teens in our area who said they don't see the results because they still knows people who smoke at their school.
"There's a bunch of people that do, but I think it's gone down some. I just think if someone stops, everyone else will stop, too," said Mariah, a teenager from Clarksburg.
The CDC study showed that kids are drinking less too. one woman said she thinks kids not only need to quit smoking, but wipe all the other drugs off the streets as well.
"Smoking isn't good for anyone, including kids. I think the drug unit here does a great job of eliminating drugs across the county, especially for kids because it's bad for everyone," said Nancy Tucker, of Clarksburg.
