UPDATE: Officials Identify Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Officials say 40-year-old James Edward Yocum of Philippi tragically passed away after he apparently lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to flip off of the road and land into a storage building.
 
5 NEWS UPDATE (07/03/14):
 
One person is dead after a motorcycle accident in Harrison County. 
 
It all happened around 2:00 Thursday afternoon along Route 20 between Quiet Dell and Lost Creek. 
 
Investigators said no other vehicles were involved, but have not said how many people were riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident. There is no word yet on what caused this crash, and the victim's identity has not been released. 
 
The Harrison County Sheriffs Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department, Stonewood Fire Department, and Anmoore EMS responded to the scene. 
 
This accident is being investigated by The Harrison County Sheriff's Department. Stay with 5 News for the latest updates.

5 News has learned that at least one person is dead after a motorcycle accident in the Quiet Dell area.
 
We don't have any other confirmed details right now. A reporter is on the way to the scene, and 5 News will be posting pictures and additional info as it becomes available.
 
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
