A veteran from Pennsylvania is trying to travel to all the contiguous 48 states to gain support for a national day of recognition in honor of our armed forces, police officers and firefighters.

Marine veteran Lance Robinson is doing what he calls an "Honor Hike Across America." He said he wants to reach out to representatives in all the states to try to create a national recognition day called "Brother to Brother" day.
He wants it to be on September 10 because that was before the eve of destruction and the attacks of September 11. It would be a day to recognize the men and women who put on various uniforms to protect us every day.

You can follow his cause on facebook.
