SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia State Police say they're working with Alabama authorities to investigate the discovery of two sets of human remains found in a storage locker.

Sgt. Ron Lilly said State Police have a person of interest, but that person has not been charged. He would not provide either a name or the person's gender Friday morning but said he may have more details later in the day.

Lilly says the owner of the Stor-All rental storage facility outside Summerville contacted his detachment Wednesday afternoon when he found the door to one unit unsecured and looked inside.

He called troopers to determine whether a leg was animal or human.

Lilly says there was no doubt it was human.

The West Virginia Medical Examiner's office is working to identify the bodies and causes of death.
