A woman was arrested in Lewis County after deputies say they found ingredients used to make meth in her car as well as heroin.

34-year-old Amy Swager apparently hid a bag of white powder and a syringe filled with heroin in her clothes. Police say they found an empty pill bottle during their search.

After police transported Swager a plastic bag containing ammonia nitrate was found in the car that was not there prior to her being in the car.

Swager is charged with obstructing an officer, fleeing from officer, making false statements to officer, possession of a controlled substance, and precursor to meth.
