Crews Respond To Gas Well Issue In Ritchie County

Sometime Tuesday night, there was an issue with a natural gas well on Spring Run Road in Ritchie County that caused a release of natural gas.
 
Emergency crews are working to resolve the issue. People may smell a strong odor of natural gas in the Pennsboro area.
 
If you have any issues, you're asked to call 911.
 
Residents of Pennsboro are asked to try and avoid the Myles Avenue and Spring Run Road area due to emergency crews in the area.
