State Police out of Lewis County are looking for Eric L. Carpenter. Carpenter has two outstanding felony warrants, one for uttering and the other for conspiracy to commit a felony.  He also has a warrant for uttering in Braxton County. Troopers said Carpenter and Kayla Hamner stole checks from  Hamner's grandfather and forged them to use in Lewis and Braxton counties. Hamner was arrested in Braxton County in November. Police said Carpenter's last known location was in Braxton County.

If you can help them pinpoint him, call state police at 304-269-0500.

Bridgeport Police still need your help identifying one of two men who allegedly stole over $6,000 worth of tools in December of last year.

Investigators said this man, and another one, may have taken the tools from a pickup truck parked at the Microtel in Charles Pointe on December 5.

One of the men was believed to be driving a late 90s model white Ford Taurus. If you know who this man is, call Detective J.D. Williams at 304-848-6144.

The sheriff's department is still looking for the man who stabbed another man nearly one week ago. It was last Tuesday when Sam Bruce Bell drove himself to the hospital after being stabbed near Lumberport. Deputies said they are following some leads regarding the suspect. If you know anything, you can always call them at 304-623-6655.
