Bridgeport Police are still urging the public to call them if they can identify a man who allegedly went on a shopping spree on someone else's dime.
They said the man walked into the Exxon on Barnett Run around 9:30 a.m. May 5. When he got to the register, he sent the clerk to the other side of the counter multiple times for items. When she walked away, police said he swiped a credit card on the cash register. He paid for cash for his stuff at the Exxon but then headed up the road to Dick's Sporting Good. That's where he used the stolen credit card to buy $330 worth of items including a fish finder, an airsoft rifle and fishing reels.
