Morgantown & WVU product Campbell transfers to University of West Florida
Has one more semester of college football eligibility
MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) - WVU linebacker Shea Campbell has found his final college football destination.
The Morgantown product will transfer to Division II national champion West Florida for his final year of NCAA eligibility.
Shea exhausted his five years of eligibility at WVU and had to transfer down to a Division II school for his sixth season.
He played in 22 games with 7 starts in two playing season with the Mountaineers. This past season he appeared in 11 games and registered 39 tackles with 2 sacks, 6.5 TFLs and two pass breakups. After walking on in 2015 and not seeing any game action in his first three years on campus, the past two years playing for his home state were a dream come true.
