Marion County man admits to child pornography charge
CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - A Fairmont man pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge, federal prosecutors said.
U.S. Attorney Bill Powell said James Keener, 47, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.
According to a news release from Powell’s office, Keener admitted to having child pornography in Marion County in March 2019.
Keener faces not less than ten years and up to 20 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $250,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Perri is prosecuting the case. The West Virginia State Police investigated.
