BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - WVU’s Taz Sherman will return to Morgantown for one more season with the Mountaineers.

The guard announced that he will be returning to West Virginia for his extra year of eligibility on Tuesday.

He had previously entered his name into NBA draft consideration in March.

Sherman averaged 13 points and 2 rebounds for the Mountaineers in 2021, primarily as their sixth man. The sharp shooter played his first two years of college basketball at Collin College and was a NCJCAA All-American.
