WV Toughman returns to Nathan Goff Armory this weekend

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - The WV Toughman is back in Harrison County.

After a 17 month hiatus, 42nd annual event will be held at the Nathan Goff Armory on Friday and Saturday.

163 amateur boxers have registered for the event, with 17 women and 146 men.

Capacity for the Nathan Goff Armory will be capped at 1,500 people and social distances guidelines will be followed. Air conditioning has been installed in the Armory for the event.

Fairmont’s own “Sergeant” Cody Wilson (9-3) will fight in the professional bout on Friday evening against Indiana state champion Rakim Johnson (6-11-1). It will be Wilson’s first fight since August 2020.
