Ollie Huffman, 87, of Wolf Summit, passed away on Friday morning, June 11, 2021, at his residence.  He was a loving husband and father, dearly loved by many.  He was born in Clarksburg on August 7, 1933, a son of the late Ernest M. and Evelyn I. (Shock) Huffman.On December 27, 1955, he married Jeanie (Wilson) Huffman, who preceded him in death on October 19, 2016.  He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Rose; two sons, Don Huffman and his wife Heidi; and Ron Huffman and his wife  Lura Lea; grandchildren, Alex Huffman and his wife Jasmyne of Ripley, Ryan Rose and his wife Tiffanie of Salem, Jennalea Wallace and her husband Scott of Lost Creek, Daniel Huffman and his wife Jill of Clarksburg, Emma Keirns and her husband Jared of Clarksburg and David Huffman of Salem; great-grandchildren Aurora Huffman, Opal Huffman, Eli Huffman,  Ivan Huffman, Bradley Wallace, Palyn Wallace, Jameson Rose and Jensen Rose; Ollie Huffman, Evie Huffman, and Warren Keirns.  Two sisters, Anna Marie Swisher of Beverly and Carolyn and her husband Shorty Gola of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews complete his family.He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ed Huffman and a sister, Cora Davis.Ollie was a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1951, and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a truck driver, retiring from Yellow Freight.He grew up and worked hard on the family dairy farm, and farming was his life-long love.  He was very forward-thinking as a farmer, such as he was one of the first in the area to have a cattle trailer, and he stockpiled fall pasture grass to reduce the dependance on feeding hay, which are now both considered standard practices in farming today.His children are forever grateful for the happy home their parents provided for them.  There was a lot of love and laughter.Condolences may be extended to the family at will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, with Pastor Teddy Tackett presiding.  Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport
