BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - A Detroit man was sentenced on Friday for selling drugs in Monongalia County, officials say.

Mario White, 31, of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced to five years of probation for a drug charge, according to a release from United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld.

The release says White pleaded guilty in April 2021 to one count of “Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone.”

U.S. Attorney Ihlenfeld says White admitted to selling Oxycodone in April 2019 in Monongalia County.

The Mon Metro Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the incident.
