Jasmin Adous is thrilled to call West Virginia her new home! She moved to the mountain state to continue her passion for stories with WDTV in June of 2020.

She comes from the neighboring state of Virginia and is looking forward to finding the stories important to you. Jasmin began her career as a news fellow at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC. After that, she was a news intern for WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. She was born in Los Angeles and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jasmin always had a knack for being curious and passionate about people’s stories. She is a firm believer that everyone is interesting and has a story to tell. Jasmin grew up watching local news with her mom that ultimately inspired her to pursue broadcast journalism.

When Jasmin is not on TV, she is sharing fun experiences for her social media followers and spending time with friends. She also enjoys traveling and learning new languages.

Jasmin is eager to serve her community with journalistic integrity and meeting new and wonderful people of north-central West Virginia. Connect with me on Facebook page at Jasmin Adous WDTV, Twitter @JasminAdous and Instagram @Jasmin.Adous.
