Natalie Faunce

Natalie joined the WDBJ7 news team in July of 2022.

She is originally from the Philadelphia area, but calls Southwest Virginia home. She and her husband moved to the region in 2005 and instantly fell in love with the mountains and endless outdoor activities and decided to stay and raise a family here.

Natalie began her career in Clarksburg, West Virginia as a weekend anchor, reporter and producer. She spent several years working as an anchor/reporter in other markets including Johnson City, Tennessee, and Lincoln, Nebraska, before moving here to the Roanoke region. She has reported on several local and national breaking news events including the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster and the September 11th attacks, but enjoys the fun and lighter type of reporting. Her favorite was developing a travel series that focused on the fun and interesting places families can visit around the state of Virginia. Three of those stories won regional Emmy awards and several were nominated. While Natalie has extensive news experience, she also has a background in marketing, sales, and public relations.

Natalie is very active in her community; she often volunteers her time working with non-profits and charitable events and has served as a Board Member for the Roanoke Children’s Theatre and the Council of Community Services.

When not working, Natalie enjoys cooking, traveling, reading a good book and spending time with her family. She and her husband Paul, a teacher at Cave Spring High School, are the proud parents of two girls.

Natalie is the Anchor and Producer of “Here @ Home,” which can be seen weekdays at 3pm on WDBJ7, and she anchors WDBJ7 at 6pm.
