Rachel was born and raised in Coshocton, Ohio and graduated from Ashland University.
She earned a B.A. in Digital Media Journalism. During her time at Ashland, Rachel was the news editor for the student-run newspaper, an anchor and reporter for AUTV-20 and a radio announcer for 88.9 WRDL-FM.
She was a cheerleader her entire college career and served on the dance team for three years.
Rachel interned at WTOV9 in Steubenville, Ohio in 2018 and worked for her hometown radio station, WTNS-FM since 2015.
Since she started working at WDTV, she has reported on stories all over North Central West Virginia.
She started anchoring and producing Daybreak in May 2020 and now produces and anchors West Virginia Midday at noon and 5 News at 5:30.
